Terberg is proud to announce that two electric Terberg YT203-EV terminal tractors from N.C. Nielsen are now operational at the massive DSV logistics center in Horsens. This series is specially designed for internal transport in busy terminals, central warehouses, and distribution centers.
‘We were initially sceptical about electric terminal tractors, but that scepticism has been dispelled. The new Terberg YT203-EV terminal tractors work optimally in our busy operations. We can charge their batteries from 30% to 95% in just 30 minutes, which ensures continuous operation,’ says Erik Petersen, general manager at DSV in Horsens.
The terminal tractors contribute to environmentally friendly, quiet and efficient transport within the DSV site, which covers 70 hectares-equal to 118 football fields. The significant demand for moving trailers requires reliable machines that can handle high workloads efficiently.
